The VHW-HWPS-C4 HIGHWIRE Powerstar Quad is a 4-port camera adaptor designed for Ethernet and POE over coaxial cable. It allows four IP cameras to connect over a single coax to a single-channel Base unit. The Quad accepts POE over the coax and can output 25W of POE across its four POE ports, or it can be locally powered to provide up to 25W output per port. The HIGHWIRE Powerstar (Base) connects to the HIGHWIRE Powerstar Quad over legacy coax cabling, delivering full bandwidth Ethernet and up to 25W POE output across the four ports. Optionally, the Quad unit can be powered locally by a 57V DC PSU to deliver 25W POE per port.
