The VHW-HWPS-C HIGHWIRE Powerstar Camera adaptor facilitates Ethernet and POE over legacy coaxial cabling, enabling full-speed Ethernet data links and delivering 25W of POE for IP cameras. It supports high-resolution cameras, including 4K devices, with guaranteed full-duplex 100Base-TX bandwidth over maximum cable distances (300m on RG59, 400m on RG6, and 500m on RG11). The HIGHWIRE Powerstar (Base) connects to the HIGHWIRE Powerstar (Camera) over legacy coax cabling, ensuring full bandwidth Ethernet and up to 25W POE for maximum reliability with minimal recabling. The Base unit can be powered by POE or directly by a 57V DC PSU for optimal POE delivery.
