The VHW-HWPS-B8 HIGHWIRE Powerstar Base 8 is an 8-channel base adaptor designed for fast Ethernet and PoE over legacy cabling. This high-density solution supports Ethernet and PoE over coax, with four Base 8 units providing 32 IP channels in a 1U rack space. It includes space for an optional rear-mounted 1U power supply, ensuring up to 30W PoE per channel output. An integrated GigE switch conserves main network switch ports. Powered by a 57V DC PSU, the HIGHWIRE Powerstar Base 8 delivers Ethernet, PoE, and Hi-PoE over legacy coax for maximum reliability with minimal recabling. Each channel connects to a HIGHWIRE Powerstar (Camera), Duo, or Quad unit.
