The VHW-HWPS-B HIGHWIRE Powerstar Base is an adaptor designed for fast Ethernet and PoE over legacy cabling. It enables full-speed Ethernet data links over coaxial cable, delivering 25W of PoE for IP cameras. Supporting high-resolution cameras, including 4K devices, it guarantees full-duplex 100Base-TX bandwidth up to the maximum cable distance (300m on RG59, 400m on RG6, and 500m on RG11). The HIGHWIRE Powerstar Base connects to the HIGHWIRE Powerstar Camera over legacy coax cabling, ensuring full bandwidth Ethernet and up to 25W PoE for maximum reliability with minimal recabling. The Base unit can be powered by PoE or directly by a 57V DC PSU for optimal PoE delivery.
