The VHW-HW HIGHWIRE is a coax adaptor designed for full-speed Ethernet over legacy cabling. It enables IP network cameras to communicate over existing coax, supporting high-resolution IP cameras and reducing installation costs. HIGHWIRE adaptors are used in pairs, offering high reliability and ease of installation with no IP address requirement or need to pair devices. Powered by 12V DC at each end, a pair of HIGHWIRE adaptors delivers full bandwidth Ethernet over existing coaxial cabling without requiring any settings or configuration.
