The MC220L Gigabit SFP Media Converter is designed to convert 1000BASE-SX/LX fiber to 1000Base-T copper media or vice versa. Compliant with IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-SX/LX standards, it is suitable for use with multi-mode or single-mode fiber cables utilizing the LC-Type connector. The MC220L operates at 850nm for multi-mode fiber and 1310nm for single-mode fiber, supporting both transmitting and receiving data. It can be used as a standalone device or with TP-LINK’s 19" system chassis, featuring Auto MDI/MDI-X for the TX port and front panel status LEDs. The MC220L transmits over multi-mode fiber up to 0.55 kilometers and up to 10 kilometers with single-mode fiber.
