Speed domes are the perfect all-in-one solution where 360 ° endless panning is required with high-resolution imaging for both indoor and outdoor installations. The COP Security range of speed domes offer complete flexibility suited to any installation, with zoom levels ranging from 18x to 36x optical zoom.

Built for a reliable long-term service, our speed domes have been designed with ease of installation and ease of maintenance in mind; this enables security installers to perform a fast, hassle free installation.


Our external domes now feature a bayonet fitting meaning our domes simply twist into place. After the dome is fitted in place all the installer needs to do is tighten the screws easily accessible from the top of the housing. There are no wires to connect due to our advanced wiring system that connects when the dome is inserted into the bayonet fitting.

All external speed domes are supplied with a bayonet adapter that can be used on the entire range of speed dome brackets. Swan neck brackets come pre wired with a bayonet adapter already attached, so all an installer has to do is lock the dome into place once the bracket has been secured onto a wall or tower.

For installing a speed dome on a ceiling a 21cm or 1m drop pole can be used. For this type of bracket the installer simply disconnects the bayonet adapter supplied with the speed dome and reattaches it to the drop pole.

Our external domes have a back box as standard where power, camera signal, telemetry and alarm connections can be made. The back box is hinged for ease of installation and ease of maintenance.

As an optional extra a back box with a power supply already housed inside can be purchased to make an installation easier than ever!


Don’t accept anything but the best; many speed domes are based around cheap camera modules that deliver less-than satisfactory images...Our entire range of high speed domes are fitted with complete SONY FCB camera modules. This means that the entire camera in the dome - sensor, DSP, lens and associated electronics are some of the best available.

Quiet operation

COP Security high speed domes operate in complete silence meaning any alteration in pan and tilt will not be heard. Unlike other models of speed dome where it is still possible top hear the camera module in motion, our high speed domes offer a more discreet, non alerting operation.

Moving parts

In addition to this, the latest editions to our speed domes range contain fewer moving parts, significantly enhancing the life expectancy of the product by minimising the potential points of failure.

With COP Security’s high speed domes it is now possible to change more than just the position of a preset. An installer can now completely customise individual preset tours to suit the requirements of a specific installation. The customisable features included:

  • Focus Mode – automatic or manual focus
  • Day / Night - force the camera to stay in day or night mode
  • Backlight compensation – on/off
  • Colour / Mono – force the camera to display colour or monochrome images
  • Auto Exposure mode – on/off
  • White balance – on/off
  • Set the shutter speed manually
