The VT+ DVR is a flexible entry level system available in 4, 8 and 16 channel versions. This range of DVR is ideal for large domestic to small commercial installations where an affordable recording solution is required.

There are many options for displaying images with the VT+ range. Live and recorded images can be shown individually in full screen or alternatively in a sequence. Other display options include quad screen and picture in picture for simultaneous playback.

The units have two BNC monitor outputs and one S-Video monitor output. All camera inputs have a video loop through to allow one camera signal to be used on multiple devices.

The VT+ DVR offers advanced M-JPEG recording at 50 fps globally. The DVR records at a resolution of 720 x 576 and has a maximum storage capacity of 800 GB.  This allows up to 14 days recording at 50 fps.

The VT+ range offers triplex operation allowing simultaneous recording, and playback in both live and network modes. The DVR also supports motion detection that enables recording to be started when one of the inputs are triggered. This allows recording times to be extended as the unit will only start recording when there is an event at the site.

Another feature of the VT+ range of DVR is it’s built in CD writer. This enables a user to export up to 20 minutes of video to a single CD. This backup can then be played on a PC with the included playback software.

One of the benefits of using the VT+ DVR is its covert camera function. If a camera is located in a sensitive area you may not want all users of the system to view the camera feed. As a result of this the DVR will allow a user to hide specific cameras until enabled in the menu. The hidden camera footage will continue to be backed up on the DVRs hard disk when this feature is in use.

The menu to access this feature can be password protected along with the access to any recorded material. This restricts the amount of users that can access any sensitive evidence that may be stored on the DVR.
